Its that time of year again

I always get so excited about this time of year because its time to plant my garden.  I started gardening last year after Adam built us raised beds and well, I really enjoyed it.  I learned so much last year so I was excited to give it another try this year.   I decided the weather was finally constistent enough to plant and so this year I chose to use seeds rather than transplants which so far I'm getting sprouts from most of the seeds I have planted.   If we are lucky we will have green beans, tomatoes, peppers, radishes, cucumbers, cantaloupe and strawberries. YAY!! I had a very special helper this year:)
She did so good, she even had her own shovel, but we had a little diffculty b/c she would try and dig up the seeds after I planted.

This year for mothers day we headed back to my parents.  We had a good weekend there and Harper got to play with some of her cousins which is always nice.  I decided to volunteer myself to do some yardwork for my mom for mother's day.  It seemed like a nice gesture and something that woudn't take too much time, just some trimming and cleaning up the flower bed.  Well let me say this turned into an allll day project and I found myself thinking, "what did you get yourself into?"  I ended up getting it done and she was happy so that was all that mattered but I don't think I will be doing that again any time soon.
here is a pic of the finished product, whew!

Here are a few other pics from Mother's day weekend:
With great grandma looking for more dandelions
Harper getting a special treat from gpa...Sonic!! she loves it because she doesn't get the kind of food at home.
Harper loved picking the dandelions

Harper is growing and changing so much and of course she remains the center of my world.  She is talking so much and everyday is saying new words...her favorites are.....Hi, die die (bye bye) we haven't quite mastered our "d's "and our "b's". She loves to say, No, (yes we have learned the word, "no"), night night, mama, dada and dog.

Here are some pics from the last month:

My shopper in training!

We have a doggie door escapee!!

Just an average day at our house!! I was just snapping pictures as she was playing with her toys.  She loves her shopping cart. Ive seen her carry all sorts of goodies in it.  My underwear, chalk, dishes, her crackers, she has attempted to put the dog in there, Poor Bella.  Its always exciting what you may find. The others are of her and her broom and she LOVES to sweep!!

This child loves to clean, you give her a wipe or paper towel and she will get to scrubbing!!!  I hope she stays that way.

What's a fun day at home without fishy faces??
And of course we must end this with a toddler meltdown!!!!  Just keeping it real:)
