Lake Bums....

Love love love going to lake and just relaxing, I like being on the water and having no plans!! For the 4th of July we headed to Adam's family lake house.  Harper loved it, she saw the lake when we went outside, her eyes got really big and she said "BIG Wa wa."  She loved it, we went boating, looked at all of the bugs and played on the raft!!

Our island raft, we bought it last summer and finally used it this year, lol!! Harper loved running around on it. 

Yay for grandma Harper walking down to the boat dock!! She is so amazing, 83 years old and she still has got a lot of spunk!  She loved watching Harper enjoy the lake.

We were excited that Adam got to hang out with us this year and we even got to watch fireworks together.  I don't remember the last time he was around for the fourth.  He is usually busy with fly overs and stuff for work but since the sequestration there were no flyovers this year.  

We headed to Kansas City during the middle of the month to visit some friends. We went to Deanna Rose Farmstead and Harper got to see goats, goats and more goats!!! Haha they had a lot of goats, but it was fun!

Summer Fun!!

Well where to begin...its been a while. This summer has been so busy and fun!!! We have been visiting friends, family, swimming and just having too much fun!!

Back in June we headed to Wellington to visit one of our favorite friends, Platt!!  We had a lot of fun going to the zoo!!

Harper and I did a mommy and me swimming class during the month of June.  She loved it and would get so excited when she would see the pool and say "Wa wa wa wa"  

She is officially a diaper dolphin graduate!!  For any of you Tulsa Moms we went to Miller Swim. 

June was a wild month for storms, I don't know how many nights I stayed awake worried.  One night we actually had a tornado touch down about 5 miles from our house.  Adam was out of town and so I was pretty nervous at home with Harper. Luckily it turned away from us.  This was a picture a friend of mine got of the storm forming outside of their home.  SCARRRYYY!!!

Happy Fathers Day DADA!!!

We were off to Big Cedar in Branson during the middle of the month with my family and some of our cousins.  We had a really good time swimming, hiking and having bonfires.

The wildlife at Dogwood Canyon is really amazing!  They are definitely not afraid of people, sometimes too close for comfort, especially the elk.
