Today was the most gorgeous fall day. Days like today are why I love fall!! I started doing some fall decorating today and Harper and I had some fun time outside playing!
This last weekend we traveled to Dallas to meet up with Adam, he was part of an air show there. We had fun but man was it cold. We busted out our winter gear. I had an interesting drive there. From Tulsa to Dallas it's about 4.5 hours and with a baby about 6, lol!! Adam offered to get me a plane ticket there but I thought no need, I got this!! The car ride started out well, Harper slept the first couple of hours and I was like this is easy peasy! About 3 hours in she woke up so we stopped for a diaper change and bottle break. Once I got her all fixed it was my turn, I had to pee!! So I thought well what do you do when you have to pee and you have a baby with you?? Mmmm I thought bringing in the stroller seemed like a production so I just took her in with me, which also turned into a production!! I just laughed at myself and thought you are such a rookie!! Peeing holding a baby is not an easy task. In hindsight I should have just put her in her carseat and took her in that while I used the restroom.... You Live and you learn. I always tell Harper she is our experimental child:) I don't think I will be attempting another long road trip without another adult!! I hope you are all enjoying these gorgeous fall days!!
